Roofing Solutions Within Your Reach

The most sustainable roof is one that is cost- effective, requires minimal maintenance, does not leak, and lasts for over 25 years. A sustainable roofing program for your facility requires an elite manufacturer, a solid contractor base, and third-party quality control. A model roofing program has been developed by researchers from the Del E. Webb School of Construction at ASU with over 10 years of tested results of 95% roofing performance and 98% customer satisfaction. The presentation team will be composed of a roofing client, roofing manufacturer, and an ASU researcher. The team will show the audience how to create and manage an effective roof program for their facility.

Predicting the Future: Its Easy Being Green with Infrared Cameras

This session will explore how infrared thermography can be used to accomplish energy conservation goals in office construction and in existing buildings. An infrared camera can be used to verify building construction quality, as well as perform energy audits and surveys, indoor air quality investigations, and plumbing and radiant floor inspections. Through real world examples, attendees will discover how infrared inspections can help facility managers to save thousands of dollars, improve the comfort of the buildings inhabitants, and detect hidden problems, all while conserving energy. Included will be a discussion of the latest technological advances in infrared thermography.
